Based in South East Queensland; the Empire Property team operate Australia wide and offer client-specific tailored property solutions for retail and commercial property landlords and tenants, including asset management, leasing, tenancy delivery and master planning.

In 2018 we launched our licenced boutique Real Estate agency specialising in retail shopping centre leasing, client advisory and tenancy delivery trading as Empire Retail Property Experts. With the support of our seed clients The Abacus Group; Empire Retail Property Experts was born with the very clear mission to fill the market void and growing demand from astute institutional and private shopping centre landlords looking for high-quality strategic leasing solutions, tenancy delivery and asset planning services, without the heavy burden of recruitment and retention normally associated with top tier executives.

In 2022 we expanded our services to include commercial office leasing and asset management working on multiple buildings across both the Brisbane and Adelaide markets.

In 2024 we rebranded to Empire Property Partners retaining our specialist retail shopping centre expertise and point of difference in the market, while also expanding our commercial property service offer and industry partnerships.

The Empire Property Partners team as a whole continue to provide top-tier specialist retail and commercial property services and success for its clients.

Scott Bollard

Co-Director

Scott Bollard is a seasoned property professional with over 25 years of experience in strategic asset management and leasing, including specialist retail shopping centre leasing, commercial office leasing, client advisory and stakeholder management.

As the Co-Director and Founder of Empire Property Partners, Scott specialises in delivering tailored asset management and leasing solutions, leasing strategies, and capital improvement initiatives. His expertise spans all facets of retail and commercial property, with a focus on providing client-centric property solutions tailored to each property and the client’s unique strategic goals.

Scott has held senior roles at both Abacus Group and Charter Hall, managing high-profile properties and projects, teams and stakeholders, and contributing to the overall strategic success of property portfolios across Australia.

David Fairbairn

Co-Director

David brings with him over 20+ years of retail shopping centre expertise in both retail asset strategy and leasing across all facets of retail; including project leasing, full centre repositioning strategies, centre remixing and static lease-up campaigns.

David’s career includes National Leasing Manager for the Abacus Group’s shopping centre portfolio, as well as the leasing of Charter Hall’s shopping centre portfolio.

David also has extensive experience working with tenants previously representing Donut King and Brumby’s Bakery as well as negotiating for Suncorp Group on their retail portfolio nationally.

Shay Fairhurst

Leasing Executive

Shay joins the Empire Team from the Ray White Surfers Paradise Group and brings with him over 10 years of experience in Commercial Real Estate. This includes more than 4 years specialising in retail shopping centre leasing, and over 5 years as a Casual Mall Leasing Executive for various companies.

Shay previously held property roles with Fawkner Property, Stockland, Vinta Group, and Westfield.

Shay is a very hard working property professional and already making an impact with his proactive approach to sourcing and securing long term retail and office tenants.

I have worked together with Scott, representing Abacus as Co-Owner, on one of our commercial assets in Brisbane for almost 2 years.
